Why do experiences from the past
still affect us today?

Something may have happened long ago.
We may understand that it is over.

And yet, certain situations can still bring unexpected fear, sadness, anger, or physical reactions.

Our past experiences may remain with us not only as memories that can be put into words, but also as emotions, bodily sensations, beliefs, and patterns of response.

Sometimes, what troubles us in the present may be connected to experiences whose meaning has not yet been fully understood.

Sometimes, the body responds before we understand why.

We know that we are safe.
And yet, our body does not feel safe.

Our chest tightens.
Our body freezes.
Our heart begins to race.
Tears come.

There may be a reason for that response—
one that has not yet found its words.

“What might this response be trying to tell me?”

What is Holography Talk?

Holography Talk is a psychotherapeutic approach that begins with the problems, emotions, reactions, or bodily sensations a person is experiencing in the present.

These experiences can become clues that help us carefully explore what may lie behind them.

Through dialogue with inner experiences, the client and therapist approach the experiences connected to the present difficulty, work toward the resolution that is needed, restore a sense of safety and security, and discover resources that can support the client’s life in the present and future.

The client is not simply the person being treated.
The client is an active participant in their own process of healing.

How Holography Talk Works

01 — Identifying the Problem
We begin with the problem, emotion, reaction, or bodily sensation that is present now.

02 — Approaching and Resolving the Problem
We carefully explore the experiences connected to the problem and work toward the resolution that is needed.

03 — Restoring Safety and Well-being
The process supports the development of experiences of safety, security, healthier relationships, and new possibilities.

04 — Returning to the Present and Finding Resources
The client returns to the present, notices what has changed, and identifies resources that can support life from this point forward.

Is the therapist the person who “heals” the client?

In Holography Talk, the therapist does not decide what the client’s experience means or impose a solution from outside.

The therapist accompanies the client, helping to create a safe therapeutic process in which the client can approach their own experiences, discover what is needed, and find their own resources.

The answers are not simply given by the therapist.
They are discovered through the client’s own experience.

Past events do not have to define your life.

Not to live a life bound by what happened in the past,

but to live a life that is truly your own.
